Klaus Hänßgen is a Professor for Information Systems and Multimedia Technologies. Very experienced in E-learning, ICT development and application, Distance e-learning, e-services development and leading students to highly noted innovative ICT developments for educational applications. He was the coordinator in 7 Tempus projects, especially also projects for ICT application in education and teaching. He was working together with partners of several research institutions and industry on e-service projects, computer and network projects and content development, funded by German and Saxony ministries, research and educational institutions and by private companies
      Riyadh Qashi
Dr.Qashi is an IT-Manager for German Medical Solutions (GMS) in Leipzig (Germany) and Research Assistants at Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HTWK-Leipzig) Received B.S. Degree in Mathematics from University of Mutah and German Diploma and Ph.D. in Computer technologies from University of Leipzig. Involved in different international projects. Performs research in area of computer networks, quality of service and routing protocols. Experience with IT projects, e-learning systems, development and restructuring of computer networks. During his study he was using many contacts to enterprises for applying the results of his work. During his studies, research and teaching, he developed and used ICT for efficient performance in universities. He is Research Assistants at Leipzig University of Applied Sciences. He is also an editorial board member of four academic journals
     Dr. Johana Paluchová
Dr. Johana Paluchová works as an assistant professor and scientific researcher at the Department of Marketing and Trade at Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (Slovakia). She actively participated in 16 scientific projects (VEGA, KEGA, MVTS, IVF VUSG, Leonardo PLM, IP Erasmus, Jean Monnet Modul, Erasmus+) and locally coordinated 3 projects (IP Erasmus, Erasmus+, V4 Yibrovic). She teaches International Marketing, Marketing, Services Marketing, Managerial Communication, European Consumer and Consumer Behavior in Slovak and in English language too. In her personal growth, she focuses on consumer behavior at home and abroad, sustainability in marketing and consumption, image and product country-of-origin. She is an expert for implementing of marketing-business tools in HORECA segment and in service sector. She cooperates with traders in HORECA and in the food sector. She has also extensive experience in research and educational activities and the development of scientific cooperation in Zambia, Malta, Spain, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Ukraine, Crete, Czech Republic, Finland, Bulgaria, Russia and Jordan. In this time, she published over 60 papers in many different journals, books and conference processed outputs.
     Dr. Anna Mravcová
Dr. Anna Mravcová is an assistant professor at the Department of Social Sciences, Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. She holds a Master´s in Political Science with the intention of international relations and a PhD. in History of Philosophy. She teaches International Relations and Foreign Policy, Theory of Policy, Political Philosophy, Aesthetics, Basis of Political Science, Political and Constitutional System of Slovak Republic, Human and Civil Rights, and within the national educational project oriented to the global education also Multiculturalism. In her professional work she pays attention and almost all research activity to the issues of global citizenship in the context of global and development education, and to the European Union, European integration processes and European citizenship. She has been involved in several research projects mostly focused on the issues of global and development education - mainly in the national educational project named “Implementation of global development education into education processes at faculties of economics’ and then also the project “Global University III: Integration of development topics into the system of university education” realized by Pontis Foundation (non-governmental organization focused on the spreading development education in Slovakia), in which she was the university coordinator. She attended also the summer school intended on Global Citizenship Education and the post-2015 agenda in Dublin. She was on the internship at JKUAT in Kenya aimed at the global education, and on the internships aimed at the global education and global citizenship at the Institute of Education, University College London. She participated also on many other activities, like workshops, seminars and conferences, aimed at the global education, and cooperates with Pontis in the implementation of development education into the educational process at the Slovak University of Agriculture. For this purpose she explores many other foreign tertiary educational systems and their approaches to this new phenomenon in the education. Since 2014 she has also been a member of municipal representative body.
      Paulo Baptista
Baptista, is a chemical engineer with a PhD in Biotechnology (area of Food Processing). He is Director of P&B. Currently he works with food companies providing consulting, auditing and training services mainly in the area of quality, food safety and innovation. He had coordinated a study for development and expansion of Incubator of Instituto Pedro Nunes in Coimbra (Portugal). Previously he has been Director of Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação, S.A. and Head of Food Technology Centre of College of Biotechnology of Portuguese Catholic University - a technological centre of interface between Academia and Industry in Portugal. As the Head of the Food Technology Centre he was responsible for the global coordination of the R&D activities/services to agro-food companies and for the participation in national and European R&D projects. He is author of book in area of innovation: “Innovation in Products, Processes and Organisations” and co- author of books “Innovation and International Development of Enterprises” and SMEs Challenges within Knowledge Economy. He had participate in several TEMPUS projects that aimed to promote the partnership and establishment of interface structures between universities and enterprises such as FOODLINKS, UNIVENT and EQIWBC projects
     Maria Beatriz Marques
Maria Beatriz Marques, is a chemical engineer with a specialization in Quality Management. She is a Managing-Partner of P&B: Currently she works with companies providing consulting, auditing and training services mainly in the area of quality and innovation. He had been involved in the implementation of several quality and innovation management system in companies. She had participated in TEMPUS projects that aimed to promote the partnership and establishment of interface structures between universities and enterprises such as the FOODLINKS and EQIWBC project
     Fahmi Abu Al-Rub
Prof. Fahmi Abu A-Rub, Professor of chemical and biochemical engineering, former Dean of Research at JUST and former Key Expert at the EMUNI University-Slovenia, the project coordinator of the INVENT project. Prof. Abu Al-Rub is/was partner in 11 EU projects (1 EPI, 4 TEMPUS Projects, and 6 Erasmus+) with a budget exceeding 13,000,000 EURO. Prof. Abu Al-Rub was the key expert and coordinator to establish the first Master's Program in the World on De-Pollution of the Mediterranean which was supposed to be hosted by three European Universities. Prof. Abu Al-Rub has reformed the Deanship of Research at JUST to establish the TTO and externally funded office to manage and secure external funds. Prof. Abu Al-Rub was the Vice Dean of Engineering at JUST from 2006-2009. His responsibilities included quality and accreditation of all engineering programs at JUST, curriculum development, and budget. Prof. Abu Al-Rub has supervised the preparation of all Engineering Departments at JUST and the University of Jordan for ABET. He supervised the revision of the curricula of all departments to meet ABET requirements. He has active research in Engineering Education, Curricula Reforming, Environment, Renewable Energy, Biofuels, and Wastewater Treatment. He has more than 80 publications on Education, Environment, and Wastewater Treatment, and renewable energy.       Ahmed Al-Salaymeh
Prof. Ahmed Al-Salaymeh is a professor at the Mechanical Engineering Department. He received his Ph.D. degree from Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen, Germany in 2001. He organized and participated in many workshops, seminars and conferences in the field of Energy, Renewable Energy and Green building. He is also an expert in the Field of Energy Regulation. He is Certified Energy Manager CEM, and Certified Carbon Reduction Manager CRM. He is the local coordinator for Tempus project on the establishment of Master program on sustainability and the renewable energy and the grant holder for tempus project establishment of a master program in environmental engineering and climate change, in addition to other 4 tempus projects. Also He is a coordinator of Erasmus + project in the field of capacity building of higher education entitled “Modernization of teaching methodologies in higher education: EU experience for Jordan and Palestinian territory / METHODS”. Also he is the contact person for 6 Erasmus+ projects at UJ. He is very well-known in the EU project management
     Ziad Abu El-Rub
Dr. Ziad is an Assistant Professor at the Pharmaceutical and Chemical Engineering Department at the German Jordanian University (GJU). He has a remarkable practical experience in the energy sector in leading positions involving development manager and regional manager. He is a Professional Engineer (JPE) in Bioenergy Engineering from the Jordan Higher Council for Professional Qualifications and Accreditation. Further, he is the chairman of GJU industrial relations committee. In addition, he is a board member of the Chemical Engineering Division (2015-2018) at the Jordan Engineers Association. His research focuses on bioenergy, shale oil production and advanced oil and gas separation. Dr. Ziad has a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Jordan, MSc in Technological Design and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Twente, the Netherlands
     Eyad Hamad
Dr. Hamad is Vice Dean in the School of Applied Medical Sciences at the German Jordanian University He completed his PhD in 2011 at the Nanotechnology and Integrated Bioengineering Centre (NIBEC), University of Ulster in the UK, researching the impedimetric sensor for label-free point-of-care immunoassay cardiac marker systems as Laboratory-on-a-Chip devices in the field of Nanotechnology. He worked as a research assistant at the Nanotechnology and Integrated Bioengineering Centre, his research area in the area of development of point-of-care (POC) diagnostics for global health initiatives. This includes a portable, low cost assay instrument to replace the clinical lab approach to acute myocardial infract (AMI) assay using the principles of Microsystems nanotechnology and impedance spectroscopy. He has special interest in BioMEMS techniques, Lab-on-a-Chip, Point-of-Care systems, Semiconductor fabrications, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, Microfluidics and Neural Network and Bioinformatics. Dr. Hamad is a member of several associations such as Jordan Engineers Association (JEA), Jordan, Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK and Verein Deutscher Ingenieure (VDI), Germany
     Prof. Zaid Al-Anber
Dr. Al-Anber graduated with a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) Jordan. He then joined the department of Chemical Engineering at JUST in Jordan for his M.Sc. His thesis was on “Low Pressure Vapor-Liquid Equilibria of Binary System”. During his studying of M.Sc., he worked as a Teaching Assistant at JUST in the Department of Chemical Engineering. After that he worked as Full-time Research and Teaching Assistant in the Chemical Engineering Department at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). In 1999 He joined RoviraiVirgili University in Spain to work toward a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering with specialty in Statistical Thermodynamics. The Ph.D. topic was about Molecular Simulation of Self-Assembly of Micelles, Surfactants (short polymers) and Microemulsions in solution. Dr. Al-Anber in 2003 joined Al-BalqaAppliedUniversity/ Faculty of Engineering Technology. Dr. Al-Anber Joins JUST since Sept. 2010. And then he back again to Al-Balqa Applied University as a Full Professor in the Chemical Engineering from Jan.2014 to present.
     Prof. Tariq Azab

     Prof. Ihab Ghabeish

(2006-2011), Vice Dean of Al-Salt University College (2011-2015), Dean of Al-Salt University College (2015- till now). Scientific activities: I am a reviewer for many scientific journals, a member of many scientific Societies; I have more than 30 published articles, participate in more than 5 international funded projects.
     Prof. Rakad Taani
I hold a PhD in the field of Water Resources Management from Baghdad University- (Republic of Iraq). Currently, I am a Director of International Research Center for Water, Environment and Energy. Moreover, a Professor of water resources management at the Department of Water Resources and Environmental Management, Al Balqa’ Applied University. I have worked in the water resources field for more than 25 years from (1976- 2002) in the Natural Resources Authority, Water Authority and the Ministry of Water and Irrigation. During my work at the Ministry of Water and Irrigation as the Directorate of Water Resources, I implemented several projects regarding the construction of flood and weather monitoring stations, design of small dams and water harvesting projects. Due to my interest for teaching I resigned from the Ministry of Water and Irrigation and appointed at Al Balqa’ Applied University in 2003 and worked for more than one year where I resigned to work as an adviser in the Ministry of Presidential Affairs in the United Arab Emirates at Abu Dhabi (2004-2006). Then re- appointed at Al Balqa’ Applied University in 2006 and worked as academic staff, at the Department of Water Resources and Environmental Management, Al-Balqa’ Applied University – Al Salt/Jordan. I worked as technical advisor to some governmental agencies, research institutions, and a technical consultant to local and international firm in Jordan and Gulf in the area of water resources and hydrology. I participated in more than 15 international technical meetings in USA, Spain, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Sultanate of Oman, Syria, Sudan and Abu Dhabi. Also I am a member of the following committee and Associations: International Hydrological Program (IHP), Jordan Engineers Association, Jordan Geologists Association. I received several awards, latest in 2011 for distinguished contributions to the Jordanian Water Sector, in addition to certificates of appreciation for the efforts that I have made in many governmental and private institutions such as a thanking Letter from U.N.D.P for my participation in the preparation of the Jordanian 21-Agenda also appreciation Certificate from the Ministry of Water and Irrigation and the Royal Society for Nature Conservation.
     Omer Maaitah
Prof in civil engineering. He get his PhD in Civil Engineering, School of Arch & Civil Engineering - University of Bath1999, United Kingdom At present dean of faculty of engineering. Published over 40th paper, member in the Institute of Jordan Engineers since 1992, British Geotechnical Society (BGS) since 1999, and Arab Organization for Human Right. In addition being the contact person in tempus project. Organizing and participating in many workshops, seminars and conferences in the field of Energy, Renewable Energy and Green building. Also he is the contact person for many Esrasmus+ project at Mutah
      Fahmi Al Balawneh
Dr. Al Balawneh is an Executive Manager and Educational consultant, served twenty years in the educational field at various universities and educational institutions always eager to implement new tools and methods to develop education and learning in MENA region countries. PhD. in Curriculum and Instruction, Mathematics from Amman Arab University (2007). He is an Executive Manager of Almotahida Education Group (1/11/2014-Until now). He was an Academic Consultant and evaluator for the Curriculum Development Department in Almotahida Education Group
