Dr. Johana Paluchová
Dr. Johana Paluchová works as an assistant professor and scientific researcher at the Department of Marketing and Trade at Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra (Slovakia). She actively participated in 16 scientific projects (VEGA, KEGA, MVTS, IVF VUSG, Leonardo PLM, IP Erasmus, Jean Monnet Modul, Erasmus+) and locally coordinated 3 projects (IP Erasmus, Erasmus+, V4 Yibrovic). She teaches International Marketing, Marketing, Services Marketing, Managerial Communication, European Consumer and Consumer Behavior in Slovak and in English language too. In her personal growth, she focuses on consumer behavior at home and abroad, sustainability in marketing and consumption, image and product country-of-origin. She is an expert for implementing of marketing-business tools in HORECA segment and in service sector. She cooperates with traders in HORECA and in the food sector. She has also extensive experience in research and educational activities and the development of scientific cooperation in Zambia, Malta, Spain, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Ukraine, Crete, Czech Republic, Finland, Bulgaria, Russia and Jordan. In this time, she published over 60 papers in many different journals, books and conference processed outputs.
Dr. Anna Mravcová
Dr. Anna Mravcová is an assistant professor at the Department of Social Sciences, Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. She holds a Master´s in Political Science with the intention of international relations and a PhD. in History of Philosophy. She teaches International Relations and Foreign Policy, Theory of Policy, Political Philosophy, Aesthetics, Basis of Political Science, Political and Constitutional System of Slovak Republic, Human and Civil Rights, and within the national educational project oriented to the global education also Multiculturalism. In her professional work she pays attention and almost all research activity to the issues of global citizenship in the context of global and development education, and to the European Union, European integration processes and European citizenship. She has been involved in several research projects mostly focused on the issues of global and development education - mainly in the national educational project named “Implementation of global development education into education processes at faculties of economics’ and then also the project “Global University III: Integration of development topics into the system of university education” realized by Pontis Foundation (non-governmental organization focused on the spreading development education in Slovakia), in which she was the university coordinator. She attended also the summer school intended on Global Citizenship Education and the post-2015 agenda in Dublin. She was on the internship at JKUAT in Kenya aimed at the global education, and on the internships aimed at the global education and global citizenship at the Institute of Education, University College London. She participated also on many other activities, like workshops, seminars and conferences, aimed at the global education, and cooperates with Pontis in the implementation of development education into the educational process at the Slovak University of Agriculture. For this purpose she explores many other foreign tertiary educational systems and their approaches to this new phenomenon in the education. Since 2014 she has also been a member of municipal representative body.
