The jury of the Future Pioneers Competition announced the results
For the winners in the three categories allocated to students of Jordanian universities close to graduation, from various disciplines, in all Jordanian universities, governmental and private.
Six finalists were announced for each category, after presenting projects and ideas to the jury, and evaluating them through a number of rigorous criteria.
The first challenge was "Green Technology"; it is the work of an innovative system to clean solar panels at a low cost, Heba Al Dahabi, Omar Maqbool, Omar Al Tamimi, Ibrahim Damra, Ayoub Al Bashayra and Ghadir Al Shaikh.
In the second challenge, "Health Care", through the creation of packaging or new packaging method for cosmetic and pharmaceutical creams, qualified, Harith Abujaqi, Sarah Mansour, Zeinab Salman, Rasha Hayari, Dana Mari, Qais Samadi,
The third challenge is "Information Technology in Tourism", a database or application of hotel reservations and flight offers to facilitate the task of tourists in Jordan and encourage domestic tourism.
The competition was launched last February to be a challenge and a problem for the Jordanian companies, as well as an inexpensive creative solution created by a student in cooperation with professors from Jordanian universities.
The competition aims to connect outstanding students to companies, in addition to training and encouraging them to establish their own companies.
The competition comes with the support of USAID's Fhi360 program, the European Union's participation in Erasmus Plus projects and the implementation of ASRF, the international non-profit scientific research support company that supports STEM innovators.
The winner of the award and the innovative projects will be training in incubators in Europe within the project to promote the culture of innovation in Jordanian universities (INVENT) and the project to establish a vocational training center for students and graduates of Jordanian universities (VTC), supported by the European Union within projects Erasmus Plus.
The competition was completed on March 15th and is aimed at students of recent years in all Jordanian majors and universities
